Strategic leadership of the nationally (remote) team, overall business plan for growth and scale across 4 markets; NYC, Nashville, Birmingham, Austin. Led the day to day operations; including legal, finance, HR, annual audit, and board compliance of a $1.8M budget. Manage the full team 12+ full time staff and contractors across the country for maximum impact. Led project management and creative development of 2023 programs including 30 events and 10+ trips; Led Creative Direction of the development and launch of new brand guide and full website alongside an external vendor. Co-curated the topics and event content direction across the 2023 events.

Led the 2022 Annual Summit: six-part event series in Nashville, TN including a 185 person gala – directing across brand, storytelling, media production, operations, fundraising, content, talent, hospitality and design.

Senior Manager, Premier Events - Marketing

Lead Producer, Nonprofit Summit 2022; Managing end to end execution, strategic development and all tactical teams for a projected 16,500 registrant global virtual event scheduled for May ‘22 with Celebrity headliners and luminary speakers; strategically leading Demand Gen, Web, Creative, Experiential; Led strategic planning and virtual facilitation of 10 executive engagement roundtables, speakers included the former First Lady of United States, Michelle Obama, and Chief Executive leaders from nonprofit organizations and higher education institutions around the world;

Co-Produced end to end project execution of the 2021 virtual Nonprofit Summit, resulting in 16,800 attendees, from 136 countries. Speakers included Dr. Jane Goodall, Amal Clooney, and Leslie Odom Jr; Managed budgets totalling $1.6M to $1.9M; oversaw contracts, legal compliance, reporting and partnered with Strategic Accounts, Marketing, Industries and Sales to support their GTM goals, supporting $50M+ in potential business and $10M+ in closed pipe.

 

International Justice Mission

Event Director, The Gathering

Successfully worked closely with the Senior Executive Leadership team to execute the Founder & CEO’s personal vision of a 1,000 person global organizational convening in a single US city;

Directed global event logistics and managed all communications to the global staff regarding the event;Oversaw experience design and creative production of the five-day global staff retreat, including a 10,000 sq foot immersive showcase, 5 special live events and onsite well being therapeutic activations. Managed a $3.3 million budget for the ten day event and global travel; Primary liaison and strategic leader for Global Headquarters, 25 international offices and C Suite. Managed a 28-person pre-event team across North America and 150-person onsite team; and directed global travel efforts for all 1,000 IJM Staff (team secured 472 B1 Non-Immigrant US Visas, booked 40 international group flights, 100+ individual flights) with a 97% U.S. Visa approval rate.

Managed and developed the first-ever donor system infrastructure in collaboration with third party vendors. Spearheaded best practices for the organization’s donor experience through materials and campaign strategy; Led project management and creative direction for the 2016 end of year fundraising video and content.

Led strategic planning and creative direction for large scale event production, brand activations and launches and website development for clients including; Humor For Hope, Little Voices Are Loud, Q Ideas, WELD and more. Managed client events for WELD Nashville: a dynamic co-working space for creatives and creators including a 1,100 person WELD opening event.

Event Director, The Fourth Estate

Directed all logistics and experience design of the 4-day, 2,000 participant global social justice summit that included 8 live shows, 5 main sessions, 15 breakouts, 28 speakers, 1-live (2,000 person) festival, a 300-person celebrity VIP fundraising event, and livestream production to 27,000 viewers, followed by a live dance/concert event hosted at the University of California, LA (a total of 39 simultaneous events); Managed a team of ten event managers and 100 onsite volunteers.

Managed the first ever 4-day youth international justice conference with 600 attendees from 10 countries. Leading content execution, staffing, experience design, registration, art/branding, and onsite logistics. 

Mobilization Manager supporting KONY 2012 Campaign; 109M views of #KONY2012 on YouTube + Vimeo, $31M in revenue towards the mission, 124 bipartisan co-sponsors of the KONY 2012 resolution in Congress, 3.7M pledges hand delivered to the United Nations. Led fundraising efforts totaling $830,000 in 60 days with 225 youth fundraisers Fall 2011.
